I've long been a fan of Who What Wear, so when I heard they were launching a home decor site, I was pretty excited, and Domaine Home did not disappoint. The site went live yesterday, and I'm loving how truly unique each of the spaces they've featured so far seem- these aren't your run-of-the-mill spaces. Head on over to their site to check out more!

jeans: gap (on sale!) | shirt: gap | bag: coach | shoes: michael kors | necklace: west ave jewelry | watch: michael kors | glasses: ray-banI found these jeans on major sale at Gap this week- they're pastel pink and have teeny polka dots that are a little hard to see in photos, but I'm pretty much in love with them right now. I have a feeling that they'll be on major repeat for the foreseeable future. Hope you have a great weekend!

I've mentioned before that I have a special little place in my heart for Loeffler Randall, since Loeffler is my maiden name, but that aside, Jessie Randall does design some of the most gorgeous shoes I've ever seen, and the spring collection did not disappoint. From the gorgeous Alana wedges that would be perfect for an outdoor wedding to the playful Tamsin classic pump in aqua fish scales, this collection covers all your shoes bases. What's your favorite pair of the bunch?
ETA: I hit "publish" on this post, and then saw Amber's tweet- with code FRIENDSNFAM, you can get 20% off Loeffler Randall shoes on their website right now!
When the weather heats up, I kind of want everything in my closet to be white. It's just such a strikingly fresh color, that makes you instantly look pulled together (that is, if you manage to not spill your Diet Coke all over yourself). This spring, more than ever, I'm really digging white. I'm on the hunt for the perfect white jeans, and I usually don't love white shoes, but these sandals are fantastic. Be sure to check out this dress- it had some really gorgeous detailing that's hard to see not on the model. And a white bikini is just as classic, but more unexpected, than your basic black.
I know I can't be the only girl that just really loves Target. Obviously, I go to pick up the necessities, like the Yes to Grapefruit face scrub, but I kind of adore just walking around and checking everything out in all of the various aisles, and on my trip yesterday, I saw SO many swoon-worthy things. I mean, Target is seriously killing it right now. I'm obsessed with the arc lamp above, which looks so much like the CB2 version we have in our home, but for a much more attractive price point, and I of course had to pick up a little present for Bogey. And those striped sandals (with NEON SOLES!!!) might have to come home with me on my next trip.
Disclosure: This post is not sponsored in any way, shape, or form by Target. I'm just kind of in love with their store and like sharing my favorite things here on the blog.
I firmly believe that every girl needs a floral dress in her closet. They're perfect for just about anything, from a day at the races to a wedding, and they're pretty and girly, and happy, too! These are a few of my favorites. Not pictured: I also love this one and this one. I have to admit, every time I see a floral dress, it reminds me of Miranda Priestley's line in The Devil Wears Prada, "Florals for spring? Groundbreaking." Do you have a go-to floral dress? Mine is a strapless number from J.Crew.
It's been a rough week in America. And with a manhunt going on today, it still seems a bit weird for a Pin and a Spin post, so I'm sharing photos of sweet Bogey instead. His little face has brightened my week so much, and I wanted to share that with you- hope he puts a little smile on your face for a minute, at least. And it made me happy for the folks in Boston when I saw they brought a few grown-up Bogeys to comfort the people there.

April showers may bring May flowers, but they can also leave you standing in front of your closet each day trying to figure out how to manage to look pulled together while staying dry. I've nailed down my rainy day essentials, so I'd thought I'd share them with you today! For me, a waterproof trench coat with a hood is perfect, since it gives you an extra layer of protection for your hair. I have a one very similar to the Michael Kors above, and it's one of the best investment pieces I own. My Hunter boots are a lifesaver, and if you're looking to appear pulled together, ditch the cutesy printed rain boots, and pick a simple single colored pair. Next up is the beauty- pull out your favorite waterproof mascara, liner, and swap your liquid foundation with a powder version to avoid looking super shiny. Finally, everyone should have a great umbrella, and why not pick out one that makes you smile and brightens a dreary day? After all, you don't want to look too serious!

Shopbop is one of my favorite online shopping destinations, and today and tomorrow, you can get 20% off their entire site when you use the code WEAREFAMILY13. It's a great chance to snag some pretty spring pieces or make some investment purchases with things that rarely go on sale, like Hunter boots or a really great bag or pair of shoes.
In addition to Shopbop's sale, J.Crew is currently offering an additional 30% off their sale section with code SPRINGTHAW, and Sephora is having a 15% off sale with code MISSU!
With the bombings that happened yesterday at the Boston Marathon, it just seems a little too frivolous to be posting about shoes and stuff, so I'm not going to do my regular kind of post today.
It breaks my heart to see so many people hurt doing something they love, and families losing children, and knowing that the kind of people that do these horrible things are in this world makes me lose hope in humanity a little bit. But then you hear stories of people who have run 25 miles, running on to a hospital to donate blood, or trying to give assistance however they possibly can, whether that is the shirt off their back, or a place for people stranded to stay. I love that we live in a country that pulls together when stuff gets bad, and it does restore that faith in the people around me, even though that doesn't change the fact that people's lives were lost and forever changed yesterday. Right now, I'm just praying for those who lost loved ones, the people fighting for their lives in the hospital, and our nation's leaders, military members that do everything they can to protect our country, day in and day out, and law enforcement officials that are trying to figure out what happened and lead us all through this tough time.
On Saturday, I had the honor of hosting a baby shower for one of my friends, Jen! When Jen told me she was pregnant, I knew I wanted to offer to throw a shower for her, but I was a bit nervous. I grew up with a mom that was a shower hostess extraordinaire, and I of course wanted to host a shower for Jen that was as beautiful as the ones my mom has thrown for others! Thankfully, Minted offered to partner with me and send me one of their awesome "Perfect Party" packages. I honestly cannot say enough good things about their party decor. Everything you see in the photos above was in the package, with the exception of the honeycomb tissue paper balls. The package even included paper plates, cups, and napkins, but since I absolutely adore my china, and don't use it enough, I decided to bring it out for the shower.
The package included little favor bags, and I sent guests home with little packages of homemade sugar cookies (thanks for the recipe, Courtney!). The last photo above is of little notecards included in the Minted package I picked out, and I had each guest write a note of encouragement or piece of advice for Jen, and then I sent Jen home with a mini photo album filled with all the notes. My favorite element of the package was the custom bunting banner, which I sent home with Jen, and she said she may even hang it in the baby's nursery! I loved all of the little details in the package, from confetti for the table, to striped paper straws, and I'll definitely use Minted party decor again in the future!
And on an even more exciting note, Jen had her baby last night, so congratulations to her and her husband Stuart, on the birth of their sweet baby girl!
Party decor was provided by Minted, but all opinions in this post are my own.
Old Navy dress a couple weeks ago, and it was instantly put into heavy rotation in my wardrobe. It's super versatile, lightweight, and the perfect shade of chambray, and I think it's going to be worn like crazy this summer. Plus, it's a stylish steal at only $25!
Today's post is a quick one, since I've been busy preparing for the baby shower I'm hosting on Saturday, but I had to share some pretty things with you today! Rifle Paper Co. has long created enviable stationery and art prints, and they've just released their line of iPhone cases, which may just be my favorites on the market right now! I can't even pick a favorite. What's yours?
I've always loved pencil skirts, but my current work-from-home situation doesn't really require them, and they've always seemed a bit "off" as a choice for date night. I decided to wear this old rag & bone pencil skirt, paired with a peplum top, to church on Sunday, and I'm glad I was able to give a little love to a lesser-worn piece in my wardrobe.
What do you love to wear but rarely have the occasion to do so?
