We've been in our new place in Newport Beach for about three weeks now, and to say that I'm in "nesting mode" would be an understatement. While we still need to make a few major furniture purchases, I can't help but jump ahead to what I consider the "fun" part of decorating a home...the art, the pillows, the zhush. Although we live a few blocks from the beach now, I'm resisting the urge to go full-on beach cottage with our decor, but I'm leaning towards one major exception to that idea...I'd love to hang a beach-y, large-scale print above our couch.
In a perfect dream world, that print would be one from Gray Malin's A La Plage, A La Piscine series of aerial beach photographs. These aren't the typical cheesy beach photos...they're art. I mean, how gorgeous are they? I can't stop looking. To see more of Mr. Malin's genius work, head over here to his site.
