Last weekend, my family and I toured Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright's former winter home and current home to the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architechture and the architect's historical foundation. I've lived in Arizona most of my life, and this was one of few "touristy" type things I'd never done in my home state.

The tour and the home were both fantastic, and I can't believe I waited this long to go. It's definitely a sort of hidden gem in the city, with picturesque views of the whole valley. Our tour guide was so knowledgable about Mr. Wright and his work, and I left with so much new information! Frank Lloyd Wright was really a genius, and so ahead of his time. I loved his style of architechture, and it was so interesting to learn more about why he designed spaces the way he did. If you're ever in Scottsdale, I highly reccomend the tour, and if you'd like to learn more about the home, check out the foundation's website!
