Glossybox Review

Glossybox sent me their April box to review, and I'm so excited to share what was inside with you! If you've never heard of Glossybox, it's a beauty sample box service, which means you pay $21 a month to receive a box filled with four to five deluxe sized samples. For more info, you can check out their site here, and keep reading for my reviews of the products in this month's box.

Sebastian | Shaper Fierce Hairspray Ultra-firm finishing hairspray that shapes hair into fashion and creates a high-shine gloss. The all-day, dry-hold spray is best for medium to thick hair textures. My thoughts: While this hairspray is supposed to be "ultra-firm," it wasn't crunchy or flaky, which is never a good thing! It kept my hair in place and flyaways at bay while not being super stiff.

CHEEK + LIP TINT is a light weight, dual purpose tint for cheeks and/or lips that delivers an instant & natural rosy glow to suit any skin tone. This transparent gel glides on smoothly, leaving the perfect amount of sheer colour for naturally flushed ‘just pinched’ cheeks and a sexy pout.
My thoughts: I've always been a fan of lip tints, and this one immediately became a favorite. I loved the hue of this tint, and when paired with a little lip balm, kept my lips hydrated, rosy, and just slightly glossy for hours.

Intensity, precision, and resistance brought together in one product! Waterproof and long lasting, the liner won't budge all day long. Its precise applicator allows you to adjust the thickness of the line the way you like it. The texture dries very quickly and the colors are deep and intense.
My thoughts: Full disclosure: before trying this liner, I had one experience that ended badly with liquid liner, and I haven't tried it since, since my fine motor skills are a little...lacking. So, I tried this out with a bit of trepidation, and I LOVED it. Yeah, I was shocked, too! The little brush made it super easy to control and apply, and I've been wearing a cat eye almost every day since I first tried it out! The formula lasts for hours, and dries really quickly, as well. Highly recommend this, even if liquid liner scares you, too!

The Emollient Cream is a rich and moisturizing cream that melts onto the skin as soon as it is applied. Protecting and nourishing the skin from dryness, it contains vitamin A (carrot extracts) that serves as an emollient and 36 botanical extracts that leave the skin feeling smooth and looking radiant.
My thoughts: I was really excited to see another Koh Gen Do product in my box, since I loved the cleansing water that was in a previous one. This cream lived up to my expectations, hydrating my dry winter skin, and brightening my complexion overall.

Uncompromised freshness. Freshness, as in the highest quality of tender, all-natural ingredients being meticulously hand-selected at the pinnacle of perfection by seasoned botanists, herbalists and cosmetic gurus. Freshness, as in gourmet, handmade soaps being poured in small, cold-processed, heartfelt batches to ensure that every bar is perfectly cured.
My thoughts: I mentioned in my last Glossybox post that I'm not a huge fan of bar soap, so I was a little disappointed that one of the samples was bar soap again this month, but I really loved the scent of the lemongrass in the bar, so if you do love bar soap, I'd give this a try! The company also included a gift card for $40 to their store, so you can try out some of their other products, too!

Disclosure: This box was provided to me by Glossybox for review purposes, but all opinions are my own. Head on over to their site to get your own Glossybox!
