Spring-y Skirts

Since it's beginning to feel like Spring in Charlottesville, I'm looking forward to wearing some new trends! This season, accordion pleated skirts (and some dresses!) were all over the runway. I love the look of these light, airy skirts for spring, paired with a bright (or even floral) blouse, t, or tank. This is a piece you could wear for several seasons, and with tights into next fall and winter! Here are a few of my favorites (bonus: they all cost less than $60!):

This version, just $17.80 from Forever 21, is a perfect way to try out this trend without spending much cash. The black would be great for going out at night, and could even be cute with bright tights and booties for those of you who are living in places that still have snow on the ground (crazy!). The mini is always a safe go-to for those of us that are a bit, ahem, "vertically challenged."

This American Apparel skirt, $52 also comes in a long length, but I'm digging the mid-length cream version. Paired with some tan leather wedges and a jewel-tone top, this look just screams spring. I must admit, I'm a little frightened by the length, personally- sometimes, it can be hard for shorter girls like me to pull off this length, but I might just have to give it a shot!

I absolutely adore this full length version, a steal at just $28 from Go Jane. The camel hue is a great neutral, that would pretty much go with anything in your closet, and this also comes in navy and black. This skirt is actually sheer, but has a panel underneath- so it is kind of like a mini skirt and a maxi skirt in one!

Which skirt would you choose? Or are you not a fan of this trend?
