Classic Camel

With the exception of basic black, you don't get much more classic a color than camel. To me, camel is a great hue for daytime, as it is a little more casual than black, but still very versatile in that it can still be paired with black or brown accessories. This is a "trend" you can invest in, because it never really goes out of style. This season, you can pick up a camel sweater, skirt, coat, and just about anything else you can think of! Here are a few favorite pieces to save and splurge on:

First, this absolutely gorgeous coat by Burberry, certainly a splurge at $895 at Nordstrom. This is definitely an investment piece, but you can't deny that it is going to last a lifetime. I love the toggle closures- they take this topper from just another camel coat to wow, a camel coat!

Next, this blazer, $135 at Asos, would be the perfect wear-everywhere piece for the fall. A classic blazer can be worn with almost anything, and I love this update on basic black. This would go perfectly over both an army-green dress and black skinny jeans. has a ton of camel pieces, like this sweater, $53. I love the camel and black combo, and if you, like me, live in a place where you are still sweating in shorts, this piece would be a great alternative to a coat this Fall and Winter.

Will you be purchasing anything camel colored this Fall?
