Spirit Fingers

I think one of the fastest ways to look pulled together and polished is to, well, polish your nails. I usually go for dark colors or reds, but for the fall, I'm determined to mix it up a little in the lacquer department. Glitter polishes are a major polish trend for Fall, so I couldn't have picked a better time to go glam.

This teal glitter, by Deborah Lippmann, called Across the Universe (inspired by Lady Gaga), is certainly not for the faint of heart, but, I'm kind of drawn to it. It would be a great way to infuse color into an otherwise black ensemble. $18.

Look Rich, Be Cheap, by Rescue Beauty Lounge, is a mix of gold and purple glitter, and would be more versatile, as far as with what you could wear it with. Super small glitter pieces and the color make this my favorite of the bunch. $18.

If you're looking for a little sparkle over a color you already have, I'd go with OPI for Sephora's Only Gold for Me topcoat. This formula has chunks of glitter suspended in a clear polish, which lets your color peek through from underneath. I would probably layer this over either a rich burgundy or a jet black. $9.

Would you wear polish that pack this much of a punch?
