Sold Out

I online window shop quite frequently- meaning, I often spend a lot of time looking for cute things, but I prefer to purchase in person. The major exceptions to that rule are online sample sale sites like Gilt Groupe, Haute Look, and Rue La La. The deals on those sites are far to good to pass up.

However, from time to time, I find something in an online store that has no brick-and-mortar location that I simply must have. I was browsing Pixie Market, and I came across this Tulip Chiffon dress. I loved the flattering shape, the perfect draping, and the perfectly on-trend tie dye print.

I was all ready to order this dress, and mentally, I was picturing wearing it to weddings, brunch, and various other occasions. Then, I saw the two sad little words: SOLD OUT. I'm hoping that Pixie Market restocks this dress, but here it is for you to see. Isn't it perfect?

  1. This dress tells me why I am not trendy or fashion forward. I hope they restock it for you, good luck!

  2. I online window-shop all the time, but more for electronics. It's kind of torturous since I'm broke, but I'm guess I'm just a masochist that way. Cool dress, I hope they restock it for you soon!

  3. Is this the only place that sells this exact dress?

  4. Sold Out is one of the most deflating phrases I can think of. That's a bummer but good luck getting it.

  5. I love to online window shop except that it's at websites like REI.com and for things like flat screen tv's. I hope they restock they restock your dress soon, there's nothing worse than finding something online, where it can be shipped to you in a matter of days, and finding that it is out of stock!

  6. That stinks!! I hate it when you finally find something and you just can't have it! It's so frustrating! I do have to say that is a very cute dress. I know you are quite edgy when it comes to your style, so I'm wondering if you will wear that dress with shoes similar to girl in the picture. Will you wear something more classic like a black pump or maybe a strappy heel? I'm curious.

  7. I online window shop but prefer to purchase it in person too! That way, I'll know exactly what I'm looking for when I go to the store and I can see how it looks on me. With clothes, sometimes it looks good on the model but just not right on me, so it's pretty risky buying clothing online. Another thing that's just as bad as being sold out is when you can't find your size, or at least a size you can work with.

  8. I love Rue La La, my mother and I always go on and search for cute outfits for her. I understand the "sold out" rage that comes with shopping online, sad to say most places only stocka a particular amount of one item and it never comes back after it is sold out.
